At Sherwood Green Nurseries, messy play is a big part of our daily activities! We believe that messy play is not only fun but also incredibly beneficial for children’s development. It allows them to explore different textures, colors, and materials in a safe, hands-on way, sparking their curiosity and creativity. Messy play activities at our nurseries include things like sand, water, mud, and sensory trays filled with materials like rice, pasta, or foam. Children get the chance to dig, pour, squish, and mix, using their senses to discover new experiences and learn about the world around them.
